WPA Configuration on Mac OS 10.4

To connect to NIUNet with the following instructions you will need to be running Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger). If you are running Mac OS 10.3 (Panther), click here for instructions.

  1. Select your Airport menu in the upper-right portion of the screen
  2. Click on the NIUwireless network shown in the list

  3. In the window that is displayed after selecting NIUwireless, simply provide your Z-ID number as your username, and your password in the password field. Leave Wireless Security set to WPA Enterprise and 802.1X Configuration set to Automatic.

  4. Click OK to be logged into the network, at which point you will need to open a web browser and authenticate on clean access.

Note: To reconnect to NIUwireless, select it from the Airport menu in your menu bar.
